Well, it seems like I've used the "player.modav" cheat one too many times in the console command window for Fallout 3's PC version. There's always the 'player.modav' console command. Example: Say you have 4 in strength. However you wanted 7 in strength. 'player.modav strength 3' would add three more points into strength making it a 7. It also works for subtracting from stats as well. 'player.modav strength -3' would remove the three strength points that you just added.

Before taking up board space you could have. a) checked the FAQs or Cheats areas ( Hints and Cheats for GSers ) b) looked a few ( or a decent amount depending on your layout ) pages back to find a topic about power armor which asks the same damned question. If you want to set your big guns skill to 90, the command would be "player.setav bigguns 90". The commands "player.addperk" and "player.removeperk" will allow you to add and remove perks. .
