The new HD 990 player and HK 990 amp are products with a difference. Actually the CD player isn't quite so unusual, though it does have a few less common features that we'll come to in a minute

Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6 is the latest premium Bluetooth speaker from the Onyx Studio line. At first glance, it looks exactly like its predecessor – it’s the same size, same shape, and same design. It’s also the same driver arrangement and the same control scheme. The most important (and probably the only big) upgrade is the use of

Sound. The Harman Kardon Citation 100 has a 20mm tweeter and a 10cm woofer, a bookshelf-speaker like array. Its main driver is partnered with a large passive radiator, which sits on the back of the cabinet. For better or for worse, bass is the Citation 100’s defining feature. The low frequencies are extremely powerful, and bass depth is

Design. The design of the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 5 is perhaps the most appealing aspect of the compact Bluetooth speaker. The round silhouette somehow makes it easier to transport and is less cumbersome. There is an integrated aluminum handle that makes it a very portable speaker, plus it is very lightweight at only 6.6 pounds.

Beneath the Citation MultiBeam 1100’s polite exterior is an 11-driver speaker array, pushed into action by a rated 630W amplifier stage. Harman Kardon’s ‘MultiBeam’ sound steering processing then aims to craft a soundstage from a single enclosure that’s capable of doing justice to Dolby Atmos soundtracks; the ‘1100 includes a pair of upfiring units, plus side-firers recessed into
