As a professional illustrator that only uses Procreate, I've had both 11 and 12.9, and both have their pros / cons. I went back and forth in iPad Pro sizes since my first one (the 2016 9.7), and from all the models Ive had, I honestly feel the 11 is more manageable for the actual drawing movements with the hands - it's more comfortable than the 12.9, effort wise.

12.9 is better for notetaking especially when it comes to multitasking. Cutting a picture of the diagram and pasting into note is much easier than 11" which feels more cramped. 12.9" is no brainer for someone who is primarily using for notetaking. The 12.9 is literally the same size as your average spiral notebook.
The screen is just wow ! 3. [deleted] • 9 mo. ago. Well if it’s between the 11” pro and 12.9” pro then the 11” just shouldn’t be a contender. If you go for a 12.9” get last years model for cheaper since you won’t need a faster chip for your pusposes. The M1 model still has a mini led display. 6. Aravindh93.
If you're using 200gb, and have no plans to downsize, then 256gb was never an option. Unless you absolutely need it now, wait till October, if we get new ipad pros then the m1 1tb should go down into the 512gb's current price slot. The 256 and 512 - 12.9 inch have 8gb of ram. The 1 TB has 16 gb of ram.
